New PS5, PS4 Games This Week (29th August to 4th September)Īssassin's Creed Mirage Announced, Full Reveal at Ubisoft. PS5 Stock: Where to Buy PlayStation 5 and When in August. The sheer fact that it holds up three decades later is a testament to its brilliance. Though I’ve never played this game before, I have played A Link Between Worlds (3DS) and Cadence of Hyrule (Switch) and I immediately feel at home in this world. One thing that blows my mind is the level design. The pacing is also fantastic, and it feels like you never lose steam in your progression. The atmosphere is incredibly immersive with distinctive art direction (I’m a sucker for 16-BIT) for each location you traverse.

Now that I’m finally playing it - what is there to say about this game that hasn’t been said before? The game is a masterpiece in every facet. Admittedly, I had this game on the SNES as a kid but never really put effort in playing it because my time was spent with neighborhood friends playing Super Mario World (one of my all time favorite games) and Donkey Kong Country 2.

That said, I need a break from the game because all of my (limited) free time is being spent on the game and I don’t want to lose the desire to finish it due to burnout.Īs a palate cleanser, I’m playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Nintendo Switch Online). And Eunie is my main gal - and her as Ashera’s defender role is quite fun to play. I’m 55 hours into the game and just reached chapter 5. I’ll be out of town all weekend for a wedding so I won’t get to play much however, when I do get a chance I’ll be sinking time into: The fact I can play this game as a stealthy ghost, never being seen and going full non-lethality is chefs kiss and is one of the reasons I'd like to invest in playing more games of this genre. What can I say about Human Revolution except that it is an amazing immersive sim, giving me numerous possible paths and outcomes on objectives giving me full freedom to roleplay as the Adam Jenson I so desire. There is also all the DLC that I never played in that game also giving me a reason to replay Mankind Divided again in the future. Ironically I've already beat the sequel Mankind Divided, which left a strong impression on me when that game launched.

Once I get that done I will finally start FarCry 5ĭeus Ex Human Revolution: One of my new years gaming resolutions is to beat 10 games from my backlog and with the recent rumours about there possibly being a new Deus Ex game in development, it got me in the mood to finally have a proper playthrough of this magnificent game. On my series S I will be trying to complete Back 4 Blood, I'm on Act 4 which is the final boss but for some reason I just can't do it after 4 attempts and I've tried it with both bots and real players, but I will try again today. On the Switch I will be playing a lot more of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, currently 40 hours in and only just started chapter 4, love exploring the huge maps and the story is already better than XC2, my only complaint is the game feels way to easy to level up, I'm now level 43 yet the story level is only 27, and I haven't really grinded. And finally I have bought Neptunia Re-verse and an hour in and I don't believe this needed this remake, The visuals are also not "next gen"
DONKEY KONG 3 SPEEDRUN UPDATE
On PS5 i have re bought Tiny Tina Wonderlands as I'm now getting the season pass since all of the dlc has released, I have also downloaded Returnal from ps plus extra, I sucked at it when it first came out but since then they have released a Co op update so hopefully this helps me to complete it.
